How Coaching Works

Your Life Change coaching plan includes a free 30-minute intro call, seven 1-hour coaching sessions, a welcome package with everything you need to get started, and ongoing email and phone support over the course of your Metabolic Balance® program.

How Do I Get Started?

​

STEP 1: Intro Call. Reach out today to schedule your free 30-minute intro call to learn whether Metabolic Balance® is right for you! We will discuss your current health situation as well as your weight and health goals, answer any questions you may have, and decide whether this is the right time for you to move forward with the program. If the answer is “YES!,” we will process your payment over the phone, and I will send over a few introductory materials. I will then order your blood test.

STEP 2: Lab Tests. Next, you will receive an email with a scheduling link for your local laboratory, where you will go for your blood draw appointment. Within a day or so, you will receive your comprehensive lab results which are needed to generate your 100% personalized meal plan. As soon as your lab results are in, I will upload them into the Metabolic Balance portal along with all of your personal information and food preferences. Then, we will eagerly await your meal plan!

STEP 3: Get Your Meal Plan & Begin Phase 1. As soon as your meal plan comes in, I will send you a welcome package with everything you need to get started with Phase 1 and Phase 2. Once you have this in hand, we will schedule your first 1-hour coaching session.

Coaching Sessions

​

Session 1: Meal Plan & Phase 1 Prep.  In this meeting (in-person or via Zoom), we will carefully read through your meal plan together and prepare you for Phase 1 (2-day preparation cleanse). I will provide you with critical details, answer all of your questions, and provide you with helpful tips and recipes for Phases 1 & 2.

Session 2: 16-Day Check-In. Once you have completed your 2-day Phase 1 cleanse and the first 14 days of Phase 2, we will meet (face-to-face) again to see how your weight goals are progressing. After these 16 days, healthy oils will be added in. We will redo your measurements and see whether there are any areas where you might need more support. Depending how close you are to your goal weight, we will determine whether to stay in Phase 2 or to move into Phase 3 (if you still have significant weight to lose, you will stay in a modified Phase 2 until you reach your goal).

Sessions 3-7: Monthly Check-Ins. Starting at the 30-Day mark, we will begin meeting once a month to help you stay the course and make sure you have everything you need to be successful on the program. These sessions will include your Phase 3 and Phase 4 Check-ins, as described below. Your face-to-face coaching sessions are designed to keep you accountable and lend a feeling of confidence and support to continue with your health goals, but remember - I am only a text, email or call away in the time between. I am here for you!

Phase 3 Check-In. Once you have reached goal weight, you will move into Phase 3. From here it gets easier to manage everyday life, as the restrictions will be lessened a bit and a trial-and-error-period of adding foods back in that are not on your plan begins. You and may slightly increase your food portions, and a weekly treat meal will be allowed (as guided by your coach).

Phase 4 Check-In. Once your metabolism is fully balanced and you have learned through trial and error which foods are good for your body, you will move into Stage 4 (the maintenance phase). I will help you transition back to your "regularly scheduled life" while continuing to follow the basic Metabolic Balance guidelines. Phase 4 stays with you for the rest of your life - and by now you will have a lifelong friend in me too!
